Milagros (2017)

Installation of 200 mirrored acrylic panels shaped to resemble Mexican candies, each measuring approximately 1 square inch, with select panels adorned with glitter. Arranged in the tradition of milagros installations typical of Chicano, Mexican, and Latin American households, the pieces act, individually and collectively, as an invocation of sweetness, playing on the symbolic prayer work of traditional milagros.
